Chapter 165: Divide

Hauling an unconscious Metal Bat, Sweet Mask stumbles onto the dead body of Sage Centipede and cannot make sense of how the battle reached this point. When he sees Manako leaning over the downed Flashy Flash, he reads it as an attempt on the swordsman's life and prepares to strike, but a falling aircraft carrier crashes down between them, flinging Sweet Mask, Metal Bat, Flashy Flash, and Manako in every direction.

King, still holding a spent Tatsumaki, panics as the same carrier hurtles toward him and notices Saitama is gone. Fubuki then arrives with her reformed Blizzard Group to help mount an escape.

Fubuki's expanded team brings along Tanktop Master, Spring Mustachio, Bomb, Bang, Superalloy Darkshine, and Nichirin. A far bulkier Tanktop Master scoops up most of the group while Fubuki proposes feeding a bit of her own energy into Tatsumaki so the esper can telekinetically carry them clear. Warned that she is nearly drained, Fubuki argues that even a small charge could be enough.

King prepares to catch everyone on the carrier deck but worries his rough rescue technique will injure the wounded further. He then spots Saitama already parked atop the ship and tells the heroes to stay put. Saitama sinks his boots into the deck and wrenches the vessel around, then leaps off hard enough to crumple the hull, sending a curtain of seawater over the heroes that shields them from Evil Natural Water's spray and the falling Sage Centipede alike. Tanktop Master credits King's leadership for their survival.

With enormous waves building, a re-swollen Pig God arrives and swallows the whole group, Nichirin and Bomb included, to keep them safe. Elsewhere, Garou puzzles over where Evil Natural Water has gone and turns to find Saitama standing behind him, asking who he is supposed to be.

Bunsuirei in Japanese and titled Watershed by Viz, the chapter runs in Volume 32 and adapts part of webcomic chapter 86, with Garou on the cover. It follows Blessing and leads into Sinking Feeling.

The identical story first appeared online as chapter 160 before the collected numbering placed it here at 165.
