Chapter 164: Blessing

Sweet Mask turns out to have survived the blow from Fuhrer Ugly that seemed to have killed him. Wandering the ruins, he comes upon a startlingly slimmed-down Pig God and barely recognizes the S-Class hero.

The two trade the same question about why the other is there, and Sweet Mask admits a monster shredded his jeans. Mistaking Pig God's discarded jacket for a tent, he drapes it over his lower half while Pig God looks on with total indifference. Sweet Mask urges him toward safety, but Pig God refuses to budge until he has eaten and promptly begins devouring the corpse of Gums, a sight that unsettles Sweet Mask. After a pause, Sweet Mask simply wishes him well and moves on.

High above, Sage Centipede strains to recover the regeneration core that Garou flung into the sky, catching it with antennas that stretch all the way from the ground into space to reveal its staggering length. Garou sprints up the monster's back, springs higher, and smashes the core apart with a downward strike.

Closing in with a karate chop, Garou remembers his beginnings at Bang's dojo, when he could not break a stack of fifty tiles and always left a single one whole, a mark of the novice he once was. The giant centipede finally dies as the Hero Hunter cleaves it in two from top to bottom, declaring that his fist has at last been perfected.

Shukufuku in Japanese and released by Viz as Blessing, the chapter runs in Volume 32 with no webcomic equivalent and features Saitama alone on the cover.
