Chapter 212 (Online): After All, We're Human

Part of the Supreme Hero Arc, this online chapter continues the conversation between Sweet Mask and Saitama inside a Ferris wheel gondola at the I-City Grand Amusement Park. Sweet Mask lays bare the toll his transformation is taking and makes a final appeal, only for the meeting to end in rejection and a fresh monster attack below.

Sweet Mask recounts how, no matter how many good deeds he performed, his beauty blinded others to them until he grew into just another face in the crowd. He confesses that monsterization has begun eating away at his mind and humanity, and that slaying monsters is all that keeps him on the human side. He admits that when forced to choose, he would sacrifice the smaller group without hesitation while pretending to agonize over it, warning that his sense of justice is hollowing out. For that reason he wants Saitama to take up his ideals while some humanity still remains in him.

Saitama, unaware that Sweet Mask has become a monster, turns the offer down, saying it does not suit him. When Sweet Mask points to his weak public support and mocks his hero name, Saitama replies that chasing approval sounds like being a puppet, and that a true hero cares about what he is rather than how he is seen. His parting line, that they are human after all, makes Sweet Mask realize Saitama does not grasp what he has become. Moments after Saitama leaves, Pesky Clown rampages through the park, and Sweet Mask moves to intervene.

Released on August 14, 2025, the chapter spans seventeen online pages and adapts webcomic Chapters 120 and 121. Its cover assembles Tatsumaki, Saitama, Genos, and King. The security guards the clown overpowers are later named as Sosshi, Chinpi, Sanshon, and Gomago.
