The ninth installment of One-Punch Man reveals how Dr. Genus lost faith in humanity and founded his cloning laboratory, then sends Saitama and Genos storming that mountain base as the disillusioned scientist prepares to loose his ultimate creation.
Armored Gorilla recounts the origin of his master, a brilliant researcher who once gifted the world countless advances yet grew disillusioned with people. Convinced that mankind had to seize control of its own evolution, the scientist restored his youth, mastered self-replication, and built a facility devoted to that pursuit. Saitama cuts the tale short once he learns the lab covets his physique, and the two heroes resolve to march on the enemy stronghold at once.
Before departing, the gorilla transmits an alert to his creator, who reels at the loss of his experiments and orders the clones to ready their trump card. Four hours of climbing later, Saitama and Genos reach the mountaintop compound, which the cyborg flattens together with a stretch of the surrounding peaks. A concealed hatch survives the rubble, and after Saitama tears it loose the pair descends underground.
Inside, a terrified duplicate empties a firearm before a single strike detonates him. The genuine scientist then steps forward to address the caged behemoth surrounded by the corpses of his failed copies. Snapping his shackles apart, the creature proclaims himself the New Human. Presenting a photograph of the two intruders, the scientist commands him to retrieve Saitama's body by any means, alive or otherwise.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
In Chapter 9, it is Genos, not Saitama, who flattens the House of Evolution's mountaintop compound along with the surrounding peaks, though a hidden underground lab survives.
According to Armored Gorilla, Dr. Genus grew disillusioned with humanity despite his own scientific achievements and built the House of Evolution to seize control of human evolution himself.
Chapter 9 shows a frightened duplicate opening fire on Saitama and Genos, only to be destroyed by a single strike, revealing the real Dr. Genus standing among the corpses of his failed copies.
After showing his caged creature, called the New Human, a photograph of Saitama and Genos, Dr. Genus commands it to bring back Saitama's body, alive or dead.
Chapter 9, titled House of Evolution, was adapted into Episode 3 of the One-Punch Man anime.
