The Strong Among the Ordinary

A monster called Dark announces himself and his goal of becoming the mightiest monster ever recorded. To build his reputation, he sets his sights on killing an S-Class hero and heads for a venue where one is holding a fan meet-up. His scheme is simple: blend in as an admirer, then strike by surprise. On arriving, he is directed to wait in the fan line, and when he refuses, one of the attendees seizes his arm. To his alarm, he cannot pull loose. Guessing the man might be a hero posing as a civilian, he is then effortlessly pinned by yet another fan, which leaves him stunned.

The people around him turn out to be die-hard supporters of Superalloy Darkshine, every one of them sporting a massive, chiseled build that dwarfs Dark's own. They crowd in, tear off both his clothing and theirs, and proudly flaunt their physiques. Once Dark meets Darkshine and feels the hero's raw power up close, his confidence collapses and he bolts. As he flees, he runs into Saitama, who pauses to make sure he is okay.

Dark targets an S-Class hero to make a name for himself and infiltrates a fan meet-up. He is easily overpowered by ordinary-looking attendees who prove to be hyper-muscular Superalloy Darkshine fans. After witnessing Darkshine's strength firsthand, a demoralized Dark flees and crosses paths with a concerned Saitama.
