History

After Spandam mistakenly set off a Buster Call on Enies Lobby, Very Good was among the naval troops ordered to bombard the judicial island. Since the directive sent every officer ranked captain or above against the intruders, he found himself dispatched to the Bridge of Hesitation to take on Luffy's crew. He went up against Franky and was shattered to pieces by the cyborg's Strong Hammer. The defenders failed to halt the escape, and with a key World Government stronghold reduced to ruin and not one invader captured, Very Good and the rest suffered a thoroughly humiliating outcome.

Later on, Very Good headed a contingent of Marines and Government operatives to the native island of CP9, intending to round up the disbanded squad. He tracked the group down only to be quickly thrashed and broken apart by the runaway agents, who left his scattered fragments on the island and made off aboard his vessel.
