Summary

Still wearing Rion's persona, Uzuki knocks Kanaguri aside, and Shin wonders aloud whether this really is Akao. Uzuki tells Sakamoto that she endured a great deal to bring him here, even placing a bounty on him to force the meeting. When Sakamoto presses her on how she came to inhabit Uzuki's body, Kashima cuts in and orders Akao out of his master. He charges, but Akira shreds his hand and begs him not to kill Rion a second time. Sakamoto corrects her: this is not Rion but a persona Uzuki has manufactured.

Uzuki slips into Shin's mind once more, noting that their paths have crossed before, and Shin recognizes a girl's voice that feels authentic. Kanaguri comes to, dazzled by the spectacle, and decides the God of Films smiles on him. Kashima lunges at Uzuki again, Akira blocks him again, and Uzuki uses the moment to strike Kashima just as Sakamoto does the same.

Beaten, Kashima bares a vest packed with explosives, rails about justice, and moves to detonate himself, but Amane rips off the charges and flings them away. He then coughs up one more bomb from his mouth. Uzuki seizes Akira as it blows, and Sakamoto blunts the blast with a length of robe-like cloth, sparing everyone. Uzuki promises Sakamoto a full explanation later and departs with Akira. Kanaguri vows they will reunite in Japan and guard his heroine until then, while Sakamoto refuses to simply dump Kashima's shattered body, calling it littering.
