History

Jadeite calls on Balm after noticing how much energy people pour into fortune-telling, and she works by embedding a devil tarot card in her marks so they start acting up. One victim is Umino, whom Naru had steered toward a genuine seer. Under Balm's influence he turns disruptive, showing up to school out of uniform, snacking in front of Ms. Haruna, flipping her skirt, derailing the class, chucking rocks at a teacher's office, and pressuring Usagi for a kiss. She ensnares other students the same way, all of them feeding Jadeite's scheme to collect youthful rebellion. Disguised, she flings tarot cards that turn into blades at Sailor Moon, and in her true shape she sets her thralls to defend her. Egged on by Luna and Tuxedo Mask, Sailor Moon finishes the Youma with Moon Tiara Action.

Abilities

Her signature trick is slipping cursed tarot cards onto anyone who wanders into her House of Fortune, which drives those clients to rebel so she can bleed off their energy, and she can eventually control them outright to swarm Sailor Moon. In her real shape she stiffens her hair into blades keen enough to slash through the floorboards of her hall, using them to lash at her foes.
