Iguara

While disguised as a human, Iguara keeps her brown hair in a short curly style and dresses in a teal top. Her true shape is that of a scaly blue reptile with yellow eyes and a huge tail, retaining only her hair from the human guise. The base of that tail is a vulnerable point, betrayed by a glow whenever it is exposed.

Iguara can produce and direct the Chanela, pets that brainwash whoever owns them and gradually reduce their keepers to zombie-like states. Her tail lends her considerable strength, letting her smash through a door with little effort and coil around a foe to pin them, though its glowing base remains her one weakness.

In her human role, Iguara runs a shop offering trendy new pets called Chanela, a front that secretly channels energy to Jadeite. Every Chanela gives off its own scent and needs neither food nor water, yet it siphons energy from its buyers and hypnotizes them, leaving them fixated on their pets and indifferent to everyone else. Shingo and several of Usagi's classmates succumb, which worries Usagi deeply.

When Usagi looks into the shop, she too falls under the spell, only for Luna to snap her out of it. The pair confront Shingo, and after he bolts they search the store, where Iguara ambushes them in her monstrous form. She turns her hypnotized customers, Shingo among them, against Usagi, who restores them with Moon Tiara Stardust. Iguara then seizes Sailor Moon in her tail, but Sailor Moon strikes the glowing weak spot at its base and destroys her with Moon Tiara Action. Iguara crumbles into sand as she dies, and every Chanela vanishes along with her.

Her name derives from the English word for iguana, and she is remembered as the only monster of the day given an explicit weak point, with a design that faintly recalls Usagi's teacher Haruna.
