In Act Zero she adopts the Sailor K identity and bands together with Sailor N, Momoko Kimura as Sailor M, and Sailor Rabbit to foil a crew of thieves raiding the Jewelry OSA-P shop, called Jupiter in this continuity, though the amateurs fall short. The trio declare themselves allies of Minako Aino's Sailor V while staying entirely ordinary students. Kanami resurfaces during the show's earlier chapters alongside Momoko, the two essentially covering the roles that Yumiko and Kuri occupied back in the 1990s anime.
