Maxipan

On the streets of Tokyo the Droid passes as an ordinary cake-shop delivery girl, a cover that lets her move about without drawing suspicion. Her name nods to marzipan, the confection whipped up from sugar and finely milled almonds, which suits a monster whose entire body is made of sugar.

Mamoru worked out that the delivery girl bringing cakes was actually a Droid, and a tray hurled her way knocked the disguise right off. In the fight that followed she moved too swiftly for the Sailor Senshi to land a hit, and she began turning them into pastries. Tuxedo Mask arrived with a timely clue to her weak point, noting that anything made of sugar will melt. Taking the cue, Sailor Mercury cast Shine Aqua Illusion, and the Droid started to dissolve; as she did, the transformed Senshi changed back, and Sailor Moon closed the fight with Moon Princess Halation.

Maxipan can lock her targets away inside hardened sugar, reshaping them into cakes and assorted sweets and holding them prisoner there; in one battle Makoto wound up sealed inside a cake and Minako inside a ring of doughnuts. Because sugar melts in water, water is precisely what undoes her, placing her among the uncommon monsters-of-the-day given a clearly stated weak point. Her assignment was to saturate a bakery with dark energy and to defend the Dark Henge hidden within it.
