Minako's Mother

Her brown hair is worn in a ponytail, and she bears a strong resemblance to Ikuko, Usagi's mother.

As a stay-at-home mother she scolds Minako over a long list of habits, from dirtying her clothes and shrugging off school to frittering away hours on video games and generally failing to behave like a lady. Underneath the criticism she genuinely wants the best for her daughter, and she cites her husband's lack of success as the reason Minako ought to apply herself in class. Now and then she herself falls victim to the Dark Agency's schemes.

Although scenes take place at Minako's home, she surfaces just once in the main Sailor Moon manga, appearing as a memory in the Rei and Minako girls' school chapter where Minako pictures her mother yelling and envies Rei for having no mother to pester her. She belongs to no continuity outside the manga, her first name is never revealed, and she features far more prominently in the Codename: Sailor V manga. Fittingly, Minako is the only Sailor Senshi besides Usagi to come from an ordinary nuclear family, as the rest have little connection to their relatives.
