Appearance

Mitsuami is a salon-themed youma with purple skin and a heavily muscled frame built for brute force. Her outfit is a patterned red-and-white bodysuit, and her orange hair is worked into a braid strung with green beads, a direct nod to the braid her name refers to. Her ears taper to points and her face holds a hard glare, lending her a pointed, oddly regal air. Striped bands wrap her left arm while a bracelet sits at her right ankle, and sharp angular metal juts from her shoulders resembling stylized scissors or blades, marking her as a walking hair salon turned deadly.

History

Kunzite forms Mitsuami by transforming Kariko Tokoyama together with several other staff of a hair salon into a single monster, hoping to expose who Sailor Moon truly is. The scheme goes sideways when some of Usagi's hair ends up on Minako, leading Mitsuami to mistake Minako for Sailor Moon. She is eventually purified by Sailor Moon's Moon Healing Escalation, which splits her back into the individual people she was made from.

Abilities

Mitsuami fights with a suite of weaponized beauty tools. Her hair dryer evaporates and burns away whatever its blast touches, and she carries a gun that fires scissors as projectiles along with a razor that works like a chainsaw. She also wields a nail file as a weapon in combat.
