Natsuna Sakurada

Natsuna cuts a stylish figure, regularly turned out in Chanel outfits and accessories. A single color illustration featuring the Sailor V cast depicts her with long red hair.

In the office she plays the hard-edged commander, but underneath she is an unabashed devotee of Sailor V. So deep runs her adoration that she keeps a signed poster of the heroine tucked away, stealing glances at it whenever her office empties out. Her fixation eventually proves fickle, cooling toward Sailor V in favor of a new obsession.

As Superintendent-General, Natsuna endlessly scolds Toshio Wakagi for being outclassed by Sailor V and failing to bring her in, complaining that his defeats make the whole department look inept. The scolding is a front, since her true motive is her hidden fandom and her wish to see Sailor V join the police. By Volume 10 her enthusiasm has drifted toward Phantom Ace instead.

At an idol event she crosses paths with Minako Aino and happens to witness Sailor V transform back into her civilian self. From then on she phones Minako weekly in hopes of recruiting her. Although Minako has little love for the police, the two grow genuinely close, with Minako coming to regard Natsuna as something of an older sister. It remains unclear whether Natsuna knows of the other Guardians, and whether her tie to Haruna Sakurada, whom she resembles in looks and surname, is anything more than coincidence.
