Undifferentiated Daimons

Each one takes the form of a squishy, jelly-like mass tinted somewhere between pink and red, lacking the defined features that mark other members of their kind. Because they never fused with a physical item, they stay locked in this raw, shapeless state.

These creatures hold almost no intelligence and no real way to defend themselves. What they lack in cunning they trade for brute aggression, hurling themselves at foes in coordinated waves. They are unusual among their species in that they fight as a single mob rather than one at a time, and when cleansed by Moon Spiral Heart Attack they cry out "Lovely!" together in eerie unison.

They surfaced late in the third season, once the Sailor Guardians slipped inside Mugen Academy. Their menace came from quantity and from their knack for merging together, which let them threaten opponents even while individually helpless. A cluster of them tore into the helicopter carrying Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune, and Sailor Pluto as the three approached the academy, blowing the aircraft apart; only Pluto's use of Time Stop spared Uranus and Neptune, an act that cost the guardian of time her life. After Pharaoh 90 forced its way onto Earth, nearly every one of them vanished. A single survivor later bonded with Professor Tomoe's Daimon Oven, the very machine that had produced the original eggs, and emerged as Renji.
