Yamandakka is a Cardian, one of the plant-grown monsters raised from the Makai Tree and commanded by the aliens Ail and An. She stands out as the last of these creatures they field, and her end is unusually grim: the very tree she serves turns on her.
Yamandakka is modeled on Phra Phrom, the four-faced Buddhist deity, so she carries several faces at once, an odd silhouette even among the Cardians. Her design nods to Brahma, the Hindu creator figure, as he is depicted in Thailand. The DiC dub renamed her Four Face for exactly this reason.
As a servant of the Makai Tree, Yamandakka exists to gather life energy for her dying master. Her signature weapon is a scatter of petals that cling to whoever they touch and drain that person's strength.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
She is the twelfth and last Cardian Ail and An call upon to feed their failing tree. Her opening strike drains a crowd at a live-action Sailor Moon stage show, including Naru and Umino, yet the harvested energy only weakens the tree further. When Usagi later visits the aliens' apartment, the tree coils its vines through her hair and drinks some of her energy, which finally coaxes out a seedling. Yamandakka tries to feed that sprout with her earlier haul, but the tree rejects it. Lured back a second time, Usagi is grabbed by the Cardian, only for the tree to bind them both and dash Yamandakka against the ground, ending her, before lashing out at Mamoru, who deflects the blows with ease. Two oddities mark her out: she is the sole monster of the day destroyed by her own organization, and the only one who never truly battles the Guardians despite draining Usagi.
Yamandakka is a Cardian, one of the plant-grown monsters raised from the Makai Tree and commanded by the aliens Ail and An in Sailor Moon R. She is the twelfth and last Cardian the pair calls upon to gather life energy for their dying tree.
Yamandakka is modeled on Phra Phrom, the four-faced Buddhist deity based on the Hindu creator god Brahma as depicted in Thailand, which is why she carries several faces at once. This unusual design led the DiC dub to rename her Four Face.
Yamandakka's signature weapon is a scatter of petals that cling to anyone they touch and drain that person's strength. She uses this attack to harvest energy for the Makai Tree, including from a crowd at a live-action Sailor Moon stage show.
Yamandakka is destroyed by the very Makai Tree she serves. After she fails to feed it a seedling with previously harvested energy, the tree later binds her and Usagi together before dashing Yamandakka against the ground, killing her.
Yamandakka is unusual among monsters of the day because she is destroyed by her own organization, the Makai Tree, rather than by the Sailor Guardians. She is also the only monster of the day who never truly battles the Guardians, despite draining Usagi's energy.
