Summary
Fish Eye works out that Chibiusa, not Usagi, is the one who shelters Pegasus, yet he buries the discovery so that Hawk's Eye keeps aiming at the wrong target. Impatient with the Trio's repeated failures, Zirconia resolves to be rid of them entirely and dispatches a grotesque clown to finish the job. The English release aired this chapter as Eternal Dreams.

Sheltered at the Tsukino home and warmed by Usagi's kindness, Fish Eye admits how badly he and his comrades long for beautiful dreams of their own, then overhears Chibiusa calling to Pegasus and grasps who the real host is. Back at the circus Zirconia chokes him for daring to doubt whether they will ever be truly human, points the hunt at Usagi, and secretly orders the Amazoness Quartet to wipe out the Trio, one of whom slips a blue orb into a clown's hat.
In the park the Lemures Mr. Magic Pierrot finds no Pegasus in Usagi's mirror and declares the Trio condemned. His energy blades shatter Usagi's Dream Mirror, leaving her lifeless, and a fatal strike fells Hawk's Eye, who dies clutching the orb that grants their human shape. Refusing to spend it on themselves, the survivors free Chibiusa, and Tiger's Eye sacrifices the orb to mend Usagi's mirror so Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon can transform.
With Mars pinning the clown down and Chibiusa summoning Pegasus, Sailor Moon destroys Mr. Magic Pierrot using Moon Gorgeous Meditation. The three villains collapse into their animal forms, but Pegasus revives them and at last bestows the Dream Mirrors they craved, sending them as points of light to live out their days in Elysion.

This is the last appearance of Fish Eye, Tiger's Eye, and Hawk's Eye, and the only instance of a Lemures peering into a Dream Mirror rather than a Trio member. It also marks the second time Hawk's Eye, who favors older women, is sent after a young girl. A broken Dream Mirror plunges its owner toward death, as Usagi's shattering demonstrates. In the manga the Trio never earned redemption and were simply killed.
