Ruler of the Galaxy: The Menace of Galaxia

Super Sailors Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Saturn each take their turn against Sailor Galaxia, then throw everything they have at her together, but even their combined might cannot dent her. Convinced there is only one option left, Super Sailor Saturn readies the Silence Glaive to destroy Galaxia for good, a strike that would cost the young Guardian her own life.

Galaxia meets the gambit without alarm. She calmly admits that she engineered much of what has happened, having stirred Sailor Saturn's soul fully awake inside Hotaru and freed Queen Nehelenia from the seal that once bound her. The outer Guardians' willingness to give themselves up becomes their undoing, as their sacrifice is turned against them and they are fitted with Galactica Bracelets.

Saturn's planned self-destruction fails to remove the threat, and Galaxia's revelation reframes the entire outer team's struggle as part of a larger scheme she set in motion. Two of the outer Guardians offer their lives believing it will end the menace, only to be deceived and enslaved through the bracelets, tightening Galaxia's grip on the Solar System's defenders.

The episode is the last to feature Dead Scream and Silence Wall, and the final appearance of the planetary weapons the Garnet Rod, the Silence Glaive, and the Space Sword. Through flashbacks it also closes out the anime appearances of a Lemures, a Mirror Paredri, Queen Nehelenia, and Tuxedo Mask.

Several details diverge from the manga: there, every Solar System ally became Galaxia's unwilling servant when revived rather than just Uranus and Neptune, Pluto and Saturn were slain by Galaxia herself rather than by evil counterparts, Mamoru was ambushed and killed at the airport without ever confronting her, and Galaxia played no part in Saturn's awakening. On Hulu the episode was retitled simply "Menace of Galaxia."
