Act 42 Dream 4 - Jupiter Dream

The Dream arc's fourth chapter has Mamoru pushing Usagi away to hide how gravely ill he has become. At the same time, Makoto falls prey to Hawk's Eye, only to be rescued when her Sailor Power Guardian, Guardian Jupiter, awakens her Crystal power and her new technique, Jupiter Oak Evolution.

Still puzzling over Helios and her feelings for him, Chibiusa turns to Makoto for advice. The two visit the supermarket and meet the keeper of an herb shop that came in with the Dead Moon Circus, who gives Makoto a pair of rings set with Amazon Stones. Chibiusa passes one of them to Mamoru, confined to bed as his sickness, which he suspects is a curse from the circus, steadily deepens. When Makoto returns to share tea with the shopkeeper, revealed as Hawk's Eye, the spiked drink drains her senses, and Lemures burst from her ring to attack.

In her fading mind, Makoto faces Guardian Jupiter, who bestows her Sailor Crystal; she rouses as Super Sailor Jupiter and destroys Hawk's Eye. Chibiusa's Crystal Carillon flares and summons Helios, who carries them to Mamoru as Lemures swarm him. Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon wipe out the creatures, then find Mamoru coughing up black blood.

Naoko Takeuchi wrote and illustrated the chapter, which introduces Guardian Jupiter and the first appearance of Super Sailor Jupiter, along with the Jupiter Crystal, the Leaves of Oak item, and the Jupiter Oak Evolution attack.
