Soichi Amo

Personality
The little shown of Soichi paints a man who worries over his loved ones; he frets, for instance, that Kindaka's intimidating face might frighten his young daughter even while the man is there to guard her. He also placed his trust in Sei Asaki, brushing off the suspicion Yotsumura openly voiced about the newcomer.
History
Soichi is first glimpsed calming his nerves by piecing together a cheap knockoff of a Nagant revolver as Yotsumura reminds him the JAA general meeting is near. His anxiety over Kindaka watching his daughter Konomi, and his easy trust in Asaki, sit against Yotsumura's blunt wariness. His caution was not misplaced, since traitors among the JAA's leadership were preparing a coup, and he authorized Yotsumura to hunt them down. In the end the plot claimed him while Yotsumura was away, and the successor who took over pinned the killing on Yotsumura and cast him out.
