Chapter 121: Bizarre Data

Sakamoto ends his recollection by confirming he killed Uzuki, only for the man to resurface eight years afterward. He warns Shin that they must reach Akira fast, since she is hunting for revenge, and admits he cannot bear to lose any of the many people he now holds dear. Elsewhere in the hospital, Nagumo finds Yotsumura roaming the halls and chides him for it.

Nagumo reports that Kindaka will never recover and is barely being kept breathing. Yotsumura wonders why a useless association member has been sustained for eight years, and Nagumo stresses that Kindaka is the lone witness to what happened to Uzuki. Pressed for anything new on Akao, Yotsumura says he has nothing fresh, yet a deep sweep of the JAA database turned up her long-dormant ID number showing recent activity. That trail reveals she is the one who placed the billion-yen price on Sakamoto, which convinces Nagumo she is still alive.

Meanwhile, Mafuyu Seba and Gaku kick a ball around until a stranger drills it hard enough to smash Gaku into a wall. The culprits are Kumanomi and Haruma, and Kumanomi insists Gaku address her with respect. When they ask Kei about the next move, he declares that they intend to tear the organization apart, a plan that delights Haruma.

Sakamoto confirms Uzuki's return eight years after their duel and urges saving Akira. Kindaka is kept alive as the only witness to Uzuki's fate. Akao is exposed as the source of the billion-yen bounty, implying she survives. Kumanomi and Haruma appear fully alongside Kei's plan to dismantle the organization.

Titled Kimyona Konseki, the nineteen-page chapter opens the Bangkok Arc within Volume 14. Sakamoto and Shin Asakura share the cover. It first appeared in the twenty-seventh 2023 issue and gives Kumanomi and Haruma their full introductions.
