Chapter 123: One Shot

Heisuke tells Shin that his bag is gone and that a friend will help him look. He and Hyo set out and realize a third party has taken it, so they give chase. Heisuke keeps falling behind, and when Hyo shoves him toward the culprit, the thief slips away and draws a knife. Hyo leaps off a car to land a heavy punch, but the runner escapes once more.

Suspecting the man might know something about Uzuki, Hyo keeps after him while Heisuke stumbles along clumsily. Hyo tells him to hang back, yet Heisuke's pride will not let him quit, a stubbornness that stirs Hyo's memories of his own struggles against more gifted rivals. Heisuke finally spots the thief and hurls himself across a wide gap to seize both the man and his bag.

When falling steel bars threaten to crush the thief, Heisuke quickly assembles his sniper rifle and fires to save him. The feat reveals to a surprised Hyo that Heisuke is an assassin too, earning genuine respect. That moment is cut short when Kumanomi turns up and kills the thief by crushing his head, briefly asking who Hyo is before deciding it does not matter.

Hyo and Heisuke chase the bag thief, suspecting a link to Uzuki. Heisuke's persistence recalls Hyo's own past struggles with talent. Heisuke reveals himself as a fellow assassin by sniping the thief free of falling debris, only for Kumanomi to arrive and kill the man.

Titled Ippatsu, this nineteen-page chapter advances the Bangkok Arc in Volume 14. The cover assembles Sakamoto, Amane, Shin, Hyo, and Heisuke. It first published in the twenty-ninth 2023 issue, with several Order members appearing in flashback.
