Summary

The explosion set off by Gaku's group hits news broadcasts across the country. The number of injured remains unclear, and the museum stays shut until two in the afternoon, though the Chairman lingers in the special collection area. Inside the building, Shin and Sakamoto puzzle over what triggered the blast.

Kumanomi and her companions wreak havoc in the gallery, assaulting staff. Without warning, the Order's Shishiba smashes through a wall and clamps a hand around Haruma's neck. As he swings a hammer to finish the blow, Kumanomi wrenches the weapon away with her power, but it proves a decoy and bursts apart in her face.

A standoff forms between Nagumo and Gaku. Having expected to face Uzuki himself and been let down, Nagumo suggests they simply go their separate ways, aware Gaku has his own agenda. Gaku agrees with unsettling ease, then strikes at Nagumo just before leaving, as though he has read Nagumo's real intentions. Nagumo counters by questioning Gaku's boast of surpassing Uzuki in strength.

Brushing the question aside, Gaku sizes up Nagumo's ability, judging that he holds the edge in raw power while their speed runs even. He had misjudged Nagumo only because he could read his movements. Nagumo turns that against him by flicking a die to pull his gaze, and in that split second of distraction he lands a blade on Gaku.
