Black hair, pale skin, and sharply cut features marked Ippei as a young man. When he first appeared, a black hoodie trimmed in red covered him, a red skull-like design printed across the crown of its hood. By the time of the fourth raid on Jeju Island, he had switched to a hooded, altered take on the standard black combat uniform his guild issued.

Reserved and inward-facing, Ippei laced his speech with a deadpan wit. He once told Kei that a duel with Choi Jong-In would do nothing but swing the temperature from cold to hot. That detachment never erased his regard for his fellow guild members, whose strength he openly admired, and finding their bodies left him genuinely shaken.

Four days out from the 4th Jeju Island Raid, the assembled raiders gathered at the Korean Hunters Gym, and Ippei was among them as the party prepared. Being an assassin, he skipped every sparring bout, yet his concern surfaced plainly once Goto's match against Jinwoo started slipping out of hand.

When the raid opened, command paired him with Kei on Team Delta, and the two cut down ant after ant without strain. Everything held until Team Charlie went quiet over the coms, so Goto dispatched the pair to investigate. What they uncovered was a massacre: the whole group dead, headless bodies scattered across the ground. No warning ever reached the survivors, because the Ant King sprang from hiding and slew both of them with ease.
