Jung Yoontae

Yoontae has an unremarkable face beneath a head of spiky black hair. Day to day he favors a three-piece black suit, but when a raid calls for it he trades the suit for gray armor topped with a short red cape, going into battle with a sword and a compact gray shield.

Devotion to his boss, Park Jongsoo, defines Yoontae, and he is not above flattery, lavishing praise on Jongsoo throughout the man's spat with Hanekawa. That loyalty cuts both ways, since he also keeps Jongsoo out of trouble, holding him back when his temper flared at Ma Dongwook. A greedy streak runs through him too, evident when he tried to pocket essence stones for the guild on Jeju Island, and the story heavily hints he likes a drink before raids. A recurring joke is his uncanny ability to detect Jinwoo's shadow soldiers whenever they stir, which only convinces Jongsoo that he has been drinking again.

As an A-Rank, Yoontae ranks among the strongest fighters his guild can field. His weapon of choice is the sword, and he handles it with clear skill in combat. His physical gifts are considerable as well: with a single swing he blinded a twin-headed ogre, and his speed let him strike that same beast before it could so much as react.
