History

A cluster of dragon eggs awaits Cha Hae-In and Sirka as they explore the Cemetery of Berserk Dragons. Each human-sized egg disintegrates to dust at the first touch, and only one survives intact, a far smaller shell roughly as large as an ostrich would lay. That one is Kamish's Egg. Once it passes to Suho, it goes into the Shadow Dungeon, where Arsha figures its stunted size most likely comes from its parents passing down too little mana. Suho sets out to make up the difference by recreating a mana fountain above it, downing mana potions from the System shop and pouring them across the shell in a steady stream until at last it cracks open and Ragnar emerges.

With the naming done, Suho meets with Antares inside the resting world, intent on shaping Ragnar into the universe's last living dragon and Antares' heir as the next Monarch of Destruction. Antares turns the idea down, pointing out that the hatchling is Suho's pet and that no Dragon King can be made a subordinate. Suho responds by challenging Antares and taking the part of his descendant himself, which leaves Ragnar to step into the position of Priest instead.
