Sung Suho

Standing tall with a well-built frame, Suho carries the black hair and gray eyes passed down from his father, while the gentler shape of his face mirrors his mother. A shift to glowing purple takes over his gaze whenever strong feeling grips him or he draws on his abilities. The combination leaves him reading as both striking and unmistakably the offspring of two famous hunters.

Driven and direct, Suho measures himself by how much stronger he can become, a hunger he clearly got from his father, paired with a quick sense of right and wrong that once sent him charging at the Hyena Guild for snatching civilians. Where Jinwoo worked alone, Suho leans on others, joining hands even with people who once stood against his father and treating his fellow future Monarchs as genuine friends whose comfort he looks out for. Underneath the ambition sits a softer wound: he wants power so he can finally meet the parents who slipped away when he was small, and rather than blaming them he forgives, especially after Beru explained why they left. Earlier in life he carried real insecurity, mocked at school for being abandoned and unable to answer classmates who had awakened, and a childhood bond with Beru left him fond of ants, a fascination that survived even after his memories were wiped and kept him sketching them and stepping carefully around them.

Being the heir of the Shadow Monarch places Suho among the mightiest living people. While still in high school he had already outclassed the typical S-Rank, and only his father could best him one on one, yet much of his potential remains locked away after most of his power was sealed in infancy, forcing him to train it back. His raw might let him overwhelm Bellion at their first meeting and trade blows with Jinwoo for a stretch, and he tore through the Demon Castle faster than his father once did, felling Vulcan in only a handful of strikes. He moves at blistering speed, shrugs off enormous punishment thanks to brutal conditioning under Ammut, and fights with bare hands by preference despite skill with blades.

Suho channels red and black flame into his strikes, speaks the tongue of monsters, and commands a deep roster of skills. Passive traits grant him immunity to disease and poison, rapid regeneration, boosted strength and defense, and resistance to the World Tree's drain. His active arsenal ranges from conjured blizzards and crushing Bloodlust to telekinetic Ruler's Authority, Shadow Extraction, Shadow Exchange for instant travel, and Monarch's Domain to empower his soldiers. Bond techniques let him fuse with Gray for a feral transformation, draw charged power from Esil, and strengthen his shadows by feeding them spirits. He is also slated to one day inherit Antares as the Monarch of Destruction.
