Tatsumi Fujishima

Short, messy orange hair topped Tatsumi's head, set above a youthful face that wore glasses, dark brows, and a scatter of freckles under each eye. Come the Jeju mission, he set aside his usual clothes for the black combat outfit that doubled as his guild's standard battle uniform.

Laid-back through and through, Tatsumi placed firm faith in his own might and in the power of the people who fought at his side. That faith carried real care for them, which broke loose the instant Akari and Kenzo were butchered by the Ant King, sending him lunging forward to avenge the pair without a beat of hesitation.

Four days short of the fourth Jeju Island Raid, the Korean Hunters Gym hosted a gathering of every member assigned to that operation, Tatsumi among them. He sat out the sparring entirely, though the sight of Cha Hae-In accidentally hammering Atsushi Kumamoto with a barrage of punches still caught him completely off guard. The meetup proved a short stretch of calm ahead of a ruinous mission.

When the raid arrived, Team Charlie placed Tatsumi alongside Akari and Kenzo. Horror struck as the Ant King abruptly severed Akari's head, then claimed Kenzo's as well mid-punch. Sword drawn, Tatsumi rushed the creature, only to be beheaded before a single swing could land. The anime draws his death out a touch, letting him chase the Ant King and swing his blade before the fatal blow comes down.
