History
When the Red Gate dungeon raid was organized, Kijoong was sorted alongside Jinwoo and three other hunters, the group formed simply because they carried the lowest ranks in the party. That assignment, which could have seemed like a slight, turned out to spare his life. The main force under Kim Chul was wiped out completely by Baruka and his elves. Once Jinwoo had slain Baruka and the dungeon was cleared, Kijoong wept in relief while passing back through the gate into the human world. He does not appear in the anime adaptation.
