Role

When a B-Rank gate reopened at a high school that had already seen a gate appear once before, the Korean Hunters Association sealed off the area, and the Courage Guild sent a strike team inside soon after. The hunters defeated every magic beast within, then ran into a sealed pair of doors they took to be the boss chamber. Unable to force them open and reluctant to walk away with nothing, the team grew frustrated until Sung Jinwoo arrived and warned that the doors hid a trap.

Startled by the stranger, the hunters demanded his identity, and Jinwoo revealed only that he had survived the Double Dungeon Incident, which let them recognize him. He told them the space beyond was extraordinarily dangerous and announced he would clear it alone, instructing the team to leave. The Guild Master objected, since the guild had legally purchased the permit, but Jinwoo opened the doors with his System key. The master stepped first into the Cartenon Temple, was attacked by a moving giant statue, and was yanked to safety by Jinwoo. Grasping the threat at last, the Courage Guild retreated and fled.
