Overview

This crafting component is what remains once the Demon Monarch's own blood has been drawn off and purified. It comes housed in a rounded, see-through vial brimming with a deep purple liquid, its glass neck and body dressed in golden patterns and elaborate ornamentation. Refinement does not strip away everything: the fluid still pours out powerful magic and clings to a sliver of toxicity.

Function

The leftover poison means the blood cannot safely be drunk by itself. Turning it into workable medicine calls for two additions: Spring Water drawn from the Forest of Echoes, together with a Fragment of the World Tree. Blended correctly, the result feeds into the recipe for the Holy Water of Life.

Within the Demon Castle Arc, Jinwoo claimed this item once he had beaten Baran atop the hundredth floor, and it proved to be the last piece he still lacked to brew the Holy Water of Life. Far later, in Ragnarok's Demon Monarch Successor Arc, Esil Radiru, now crowned the new King of Demons while also reigning as Gluttony's Monarch, called on the demon king's signature Blood Crystal skill to regrow her own blood and pass it to Suho, who needed it to make the Holy Water of Life and cure his grandfather Sung Il-Hwan.
