Fujishige Iba is a retired Special Class investigator of the CCG who once headed the veteran trio rounded out by Yukinori Shinohara and Kureo Mado. Decades of ghoul hunting cost him his right arm in a clash with the One-Eyed Owl, yet he remains one of the organization's most respected old hands.
Iba passed his working years as a middle-aged man crowned with cropped black hair, a shade that gradually washed out to white as he aged. A confrontation with Yoshimura, staged before the main story begins, left him permanently short his right arm.
Long before the manga's present day, Iba ranked among the CCG's most valued investigators and worked shoulder to shoulder with Shinohara and Mado. A decade prior to the story, during the One-Eyed Owl's third assault on the 2nd ward, he traded blows with the creature and surrendered his arm in the process. He also joined his juniors in toasting the takedown of Demon Yamada.
After the Owl Suppression Operation, Iba came to the hospital room where Shinohara lay in a vegetative state, arriving alongside Iwao Kuroiwa and Juuzou Suzuya once a doctor had laid out the prognosis. He reminded Kuroiwa to be grateful the lost limb had not been his dominant one, then looked back fondly on the years he had spent partnered with Shinohara and Mado.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....

Fujishige Iba reached Special Class, marking him as a fighter well above the ordinary investigator, and colleagues regarded him as a seasoned hand with bikaku-type quinque.
