Kei
CharacterKei was a ghoul of the 11th ward and the mother of Kouto. Aligned with Kazuichi Banjou during his time leading the ward, she took part in the doomed plan to break out of the 11th Ward Base and was killed by Yamori as leverage against Ken Kaneki.

Kei dressed in the standard garb worn by members of Aogiri Tree.
Personality
Little is documented about her temperament. She is defined chiefly by her ties to Banjou's circle and by her role as Kouto's mother.
History
Kei attended the Anti-Aogiri gathering where the ghouls loyal to Banjou mapped out their escape from the 11th Ward Base. When the breakout collapsed, Yamori killed her and her son as part of the torture inflicted on Kaneki. In the anime adaptation, she and Kouto were swapped out for the characters Shuu and Haru.
