Rou

Rou is slender and youthful, her long silver hair framing violet eyes and pale skin. She wears a snug purple dress that flares into ruffles below the waist, finished with earrings, matching bracelets, hair ornaments, and tall purple boots that stop just short of the knee. A tattoo shaped like a stylized spider web marks the outer corner of her left eye.

Rou lays on the flattery, most of all toward Rio, whom she openly wants to eat. Her appetite borders on ritual: she will deny herself food for a stretch just so she can relish her next victim all the more.

Like any ghoul, Rou is physically enhanced and armed with a koukaku kagune. Hers erupts from below her left shoulder, its base blooming into a flower-shaped mass that sheathes the shoulder blade, with a supple whip-like strand linking that bloom to a spear-tipped weapon she handles in her left hand. Within the story she serves only as one of Rio's false leads in the hunt for Jail, and her very name is a pun, since the reading of Rou can mean prison.
