Role

The weapon feeds off a briefcase wired to it that acts as its energy source. Should that wire be severed, it can still deal grave harm to a ghoul through a short-range mode change, a technique light enough on power that it functions even with the supply gone. A compress setting concentrates the shot into a wide area blast, while diffuse scatters the charge into several crescent-shaped bolts, letting it clear multiple ghouls with one firing.

Ken Kaneki wrecked the quinque during the Owl Suppression Operation, but it was later mended and brought back into service against ghouls breaking loose in Cochlea during the events of Tokyo Ghoul:re. Together with Arima's Narukami, it stood among the rare few quinques that could genuinely endanger Noro.
