
Hanged Man is the one hundred ninth chapter of Tokyo Ghoul. Kaneki and Hinami enjoy Takatsuki's signing while she muses about writing on ghouls, and across town Amon and Takizawa share a tipsy meal with Akira.
At the book signing, Hinami Fueguchi and Ken Kaneki chat with Sen Takatsuki about her earlier writing. Once she autographs their copies, Kaneki heads out with Hinami. On the way, Hinami remarks on how cheerful Kaneki seems and jokes that he has a soft spot for the author. Not long after, Hideyoshi Nagachika turns up at the event to get a book signed for Kaneki. As Takatsuki signs it, she voices her wish to make ghouls the subject of her next book.
Over at the CCG, Koutarou Amon talks through Kurona Yasuhisa and the Eyepatch ghoul with Seidou Takizawa. As they go over the ghouls seen at Akihiro Kanou's mansion, Akira Mado appears. Takizawa and Amon ask her to join them for a meal, and she agrees. Afterward, both Akira and Takizawa turn out to be quite drunk.
Takatsuki signs books for Hinami and Kaneki and announces she wants to write about ghouls. Hideyoshi Nagachika appears at the signing to have a book signed for Kaneki. Amon and Takizawa discuss the Eyepatch ghoul and the Kanou mansion ghouls, then share a meal with Akira that leaves her and Takizawa drunk.
Part of Volume 11, the chapter is titled 吊人 in Japanese, read as Tsurushibito and rendered Hanged Man. It appeared on December 26, 2013 in issue 2014-04-05 across eighteen pages. Ryouko Fueguchi, the author Osamu Dazai, Kanou, Tsukiyama, and several investigators are referenced, and the Yasuhisa twins feature in flashback.
