Returning is the one hundred tenth chapter of Tokyo Ghoul. A drunken Akira unloads her grief about her father onto Amon and clings to him, while Kaneki visits Uta at his mask studio to dig into the history of Anteiku and Renji Yomo.
Drunk together, Akira Mado and Seidou Takizawa fall into a quarrel. As Takizawa boasts about beating his childhood rival, his phone rings and he snaps at the caller, who proves to be Kousuke Houji. Houji summons him to the CCG over an oversight in his report, telling him to come once he has cooled off and scolding him for how he has been acting. Takizawa hurries off to work, leaving Koutarou Amon watching over the intoxicated Akira. She opens up about her father, blaming him for his own death and admitting she hates him for it. Amon answers calmly that he understands the fault was his own, and pledges to guard the people his mentor held dear. He is then startled when Akira slumps asleep at the table.
At HySy ArtMask Studio, Uta receives a visit from Ken Kaneki, who explains he has come to learn more about Anteiku and the people in it. Uta admits he knows little about Yoshimura beyond his taking charge of the 20th Ward when he founded Anteiku, but offers to share what he does know about Renji Yomo's past. Later, Amon carries the drink-addled Akira home to her apartment, and as he moves to slip away and let her rest, she suddenly seizes his hand.
Houji orders a drunken Takizawa back to the CCG over a report error. Akira confesses to Amon that she blames and hates her late father, and Amon vows to protect those his mentor cherished. Kaneki asks Uta about Anteiku, and Uta agrees to reveal Renji Yomo's history. Amon carries Akira home, where she grabs his hand as he tries to leave.
Set in Volume 11, this chapter's Japanese title is 帰来, read as Kirai and given as Return. It ran on January 9, 2014 in issue 2014-06-07 across eighteen pages. Kureo Mado, Yoshimura, and the Anteiku regulars appear in flashback, and figures including Shinohara, Touka, and Rize are referenced.

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
