Summary

The investigators of the Commission of Counter Ghoul sweep from one structure to the next, cutting down every ghoul in their path. Koutarou Amon asks Yukinori Shinohara where Juuzou Suzuya has gone as the units relocate, while Itsuki Marude directs the squads to take up positions and lock down the separate buildings. When a pair of officers challenge Ayato Kirishima, their gunfire does nothing, and he surges forward wrapped in his kagune to butcher them. The forces of Aogiri Tree keep grinding against the doves as they wait for Noro to stir.

Alarmed by the relentless assault on the stronghold, Yamori goes to speak with Ken Kaneki and lectures him on the old belief surrounding cannibalism. Before his captor can act, Kaneki tears a bite from Yamori's cheek, which enrages him. A short clash follows, pushing Yamori to call on his kakuja, and Kaneki braces for the fight while dismissing the man as nothing but an annoyance.
