Summary
An ordinary chat between a diner and a waiter ends in slaughter when the Oggai storm in and cut the man down, branding him a ghoul, a scene repeated in crowded shops and across the city. Amid an attack, a lone ghoul named Kou is saved by Naki, who offers to lead him below.
