The one hundred seventy-eighth chapter of Tokyo Ghoul:re gathers its fallen and its survivors as the fight against V ends, Dragon collapses around Kaneki, and Touka and Saiko wait together for his return.
Kaneki bends over Rize's lifeless body as the kagune structure enclosing them starts to tremble and break apart. On a monitor, Kimi Nishino calls out to him.
On the battlefield, Take Hirako shreds Kaiko's face and V is beaten. Turning, he finds Eto Yoshimura resting on the ground with a smile. Renji Yomo cradles Enji Koma, who grumbles about the trouble of it all and is told gently to rest. A weeping Nishiki Nishio and a grieving Shuu Tsukiyama stand over the still form of Kaya Irimi. A general order then reaches the surviving ghouls and investigators to fall back, since only a tenth of the enemy remains; apart from a pursuit unit, everyone is to stop fighting and see to the wounded.
Hearing this, Kaneki tries to flee the crumbling structure but sinks into it and is pinned as it comes down. Dropping into darkness, he glimpses a light and hears a voice welcoming him, telling him it has always been watching. At the CCG hospital, Touka Kirishima gazes out the window while Saiko Yonebayashi remains bedridden with Rc cell over-secretion disease. Saiko admits she is frightened of the waiting; Touka takes her hand, confesses her own fear, and asks whether they should wait for Kaneki together, and Saiko smiles and agrees.
V is defeated as Hirako destroys Kaiko, though Koma and Irimi are lost in the fighting. A retreat order goes out with only ten percent of the enemy remaining. Kaneki is trapped as Dragon collapses and falls toward a light and a watching voice, while Touka and Saiko resolve to wait for him together.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
