:re Chapter 18

Put up for sale as merchandise, Tooru Mutsuki fights down his panic and studies his surroundings until No Face steps up, sniffs him, and remarks on a strange scent. Pulling away the eyepatch, No Face shows the room that Mutsuki is a one-eyed ghoul, and treats the discovery as a prize by leaping the bid from one million yen to ten, which the excited crowd meets without hesitation.

Madam A rises and claims to feel unwell, though her real aim is to steer clear of the trouble that trails one-eyed ghouls. Recognizing Mutsuki, Karao Saeki grows anxious and asks Ayato Kirishima to let him take part, much to Ayato's irritation. On stage, Mutsuki quietly comes apart inside as No Face leans in from behind to whisper to him, leaving him looking beaten. A contest opens between Kanae von Rosewald, who wants to bring Mutsuki to Tsukiyama, and Big Madam, who is after a new pet.

Nutcracker later leads Mutsuki off while gloating over her cut, planting a sloppy kiss on his cheek in thanks for the payout, and a bewildered Mutsuki is walked away in silence. Back on stage, No Face soothes the annoyed audience and readies the next lot as Matsumae reassures Kanae about the next opportunity. The new item, a girl praised for extraordinary, doll-like beauty, freezes Big Madam with interest. Before bidding starts, the girl draws Scorpion 1/56 from a prosthetic leg and cuts into the crowd, revealing that the CCG has slipped inside. Urged to run, Big Madam holds her ground, recognizing the attacker as Juuzou Suzuya.

No Face exposes Mutsuki as a one-eyed ghoul, spiking his auction value, and a bidding duel erupts between Kanae and Big Madam. Nutcracker escorts the captive away, and No Face introduces a final lot who turns out to be a disguised Juuzou Suzuya. Suzuya opens fire on the buyers, signaling that the CCG has infiltrated the auction.

The chapter appears in the second volume of Tokyo Ghoul:re and carries the Japanese title Watashibune. Shuu Tsukiyama, Naki, and Miza are referenced without appearing on the page.
