:re Chapter 22

The chapter opens deep within the auction raid, where Seidou Takizawa drinks blood from a severed head and picks off the terrified investigators around him one after another. Somewhere nearby, Kanae von Rosewald pounds Karao Saeki into the ground and warns that failing to find Tooru Mutsuki will cost the ghoul his life.

Take Hirako trades blows with the masked No Face, who slips past every strike while keeping up idle chatter. Reinforcements are summoned as the brawl spreads, and No Face taunts Hirako by donning an Arima mask before pinning his arm with Juuzou Suzuya's borrowed blades. Elsewhere Mutsuki flees down a corridor, only for Kanae to run him down.

Just as Kanae moves for the kill, Haise Sasaki intervenes with an apology for arriving late, and Ginshi Shirazu and Kuki Urie pile onto the assault. Catching a familiar scent, Kanae presses to learn whether the young investigator is truly Haise Sasaki, while the Ooshiba Squad slips into the Administrative Building hunting Big Madam, oblivious to Nutcracker watching from overhead.

Takizawa wipes out Daisuke Atou's unit almost single-handedly. Hirako discovers that his opponent carries Suzuya's knives and reads his rage toward Arima. Sasaki rescues Mutsuki from Kanae, whose kagune is identified as a rinkaku type. Kanae grows suspicious of Sasaki's identity, and the Ooshiba Squad advances into an ambush waiting above them.

The installment carries the Japanese title 謬徒, romanized as Byuto and rendered in English as Rebut. It runs nineteen pages within the third volume of the series and first appeared in issue 2015-17 of the magazine on March 26, 2015.
