Nutcracker springs on the Ooshiba Squad and turns a losing brawl in her favor the moment she unveils a second kagune. She skewers Ryouta Ooshiba through the leg, cuts down several of his men, and devours parts of her victims after he manages a final call for help. Command promptly raises her threat classification.

Elsewhere the Quinx corner Kanae von Rosewald, but Matsumae arrives to seal off the corridor and spirit the wounded ghoul away. Matsuri Washuu then orders Sasaki's team to hunt down Nutcracker and grants Sasaki's request to pull the injured Mutsuki out for treatment, assigning Urie as his escort.

Urie bristles at being sidelined and denied recognition, yielding only after Sasaki points out that neither Mutsuki nor Saiko Yonebayashi can hold their own in combat. Unaware that Takizawa has already annihilated the Atou Squad, Matsuri radios them for support and a lone survivor answers, masking the disaster. As the pair withdraw, Urie abruptly tells Mutsuki to halt.

Nutcracker exposes her dual kagune and is bumped up to an S rank threat. Ryouta Ooshiba is gravely wounded and mutilated. Matsumae extracts Kanae from the Quinx. Sasaki secures medical leave for Mutsuki with Urie guarding him, and the annihilated Atou Squad's radio is answered by an impostor, hiding Takizawa's rampage.

The chapter bears the Japanese title 梨酒, read as Rishu and given the English name Relish. Spanning eighteen pages of the third collected volume, it debuted in issue 2015-18 on April 2, 2015.
