:re Chapter 25

On the way to the Administrative Building, Sasaki's group finds Naoto Hayashimura downed and learns Nutcracker waits ahead. Takizawa ambushes them, startled that Sasaki can parry until he watches the wound close. After a brief clash in which Sasaki pierces him and Takizawa shrugs it off, the attacker reveals himself as a one-eyed ghoul and unleashes his own kagune, forcing Sasaki to order Shirazu, Yonebayashi, and Hayashimura to flee.

From cover, the squad reports in, and Matsuri Washuu is stunned that so powerful a ghoul slipped notice, linking it to the Atou Squad's destruction. He slaps a provisional SS~ rating on Takizawa and orders Sasaki to hold him alone while the rest press toward the Administrative Building. Hayashimura backs the call, rebukes Shirazu for disrespecting a Washuu, and steers him and Saiko toward the Nutcracker fight.

Beneath the Grand Hall stage, Urie talks Mutsuki into holding their ground, then lies about a dead transmitter once Suzuya turns up, hoping to keep the glory for himself before the two spring their ambush. At the entrance, the wounded Naki drifts through memories of Yamori and Akira Mado's words until investigators close in, only for Ayato Kirishima to dive to his rescue as Takizawa's chokehold tightens on Sasaki.

Takizawa exposes his nature as a one-eyed ghoul and earns a temporary SS~ classification. Sasaki is left to fight him one on one while his teammates redirect toward Nutcracker. Urie conceals Suzuya's arrival to hoard credit and launches an ambush on the fleeing attendees. Ayato Kirishima shields Naki from a swarm of investigators.

The chapter's Japanese title 令 is read as Rei and localized as Relay. Running eighteen pages in the third volume, it first ran in issue 2015-20 on April 16, 2015.
