After crash-landing his airplane in the frigid Northern Territory, Goku is found frozen solid in the snow by a young girl named Suno. She drags him back to her home in Jingle Village, where she and her mother nurse him back to health with warm blankets and hot drinks. When Goku explains his quest for the Dragon Balls, Suno and her mother grow worried, fearing he might be connected to the Red Ribbon Army. Goku quickly assures them otherwise and shares the story of his previous encounter with Shenron.
Meanwhile, General White dispatches scouts from Muscle Tower to track Goku through the snow. The soldiers terrorize the villagers, going house to house until they locate Goku at Suno's home. When they attempt to kill him in the bathroom, Goku easily defeats them. Suno and her mother reveal that the Red Ribbon Army has been using the villagers as slave labor to search for Dragon Balls and has taken their village chief hostage.
Outraged, Goku vows to rescue the chief. He charges out into the blizzard but quickly retreats from the freezing cold. Suno outfits him with warm thermal clothing, and Goku sets off again toward Muscle Tower. Using his Power Pole, he deflects a barrage of bullets and fights his way to the entrance of the imposing fortress.
The image of little Goku, frozen stiff like an ice sculpture and dragged through the snow by Suno, sets a comedic yet endearing tone for the entire Muscle Tower arc. His bewilderment at cold weather is a reminder of just how sheltered his mountain upbringing really was.
Goku's assault on the outer defenses of Muscle Tower is a highlight. Bullets rain down on him from every direction, but he spins his Power Pole like a shield, deflecting shots and knocking soldiers aside as he charges straight for the front door. It is a bold, one-boy siege that sets the stakes for the battles ahead.
The quiet desperation of Jingle Village grounds the episode emotionally. Suno's family isn't just being inconvenienced; they are living under genuine military occupation. The village chief's capture gives Goku a personal reason to fight beyond his Dragon Ball hunt.
This episode marks the beginning of the Muscle Tower arc and Goku's first encounter with the Red Ribbon Army's ground-level cruelty. Suno makes her debut here as one of the series' most memorable one-arc characters, and Jingle Village becomes the emotional anchor for the battles ahead.
General White also appears for the first time, establishing himself as the cold and calculating commander of Muscle Tower. The episode adapts the manga chapter "The Storming of Muscle Tower" while expanding significantly on Goku's time with Suno's family.
