Pan is Born! And Goku Goes on a Training Journey?!

More than six months have passed since Vegeta left to train with Whis. Gohan and Videl's daughter Pan has arrived, and the extended family gathers around the newborn. Mr. Satan entertains her with goofy faces while Gohan transforms into his Great Saiyaman costume for a playful sparring session, tossing Pan between them like a football. Chi-Chi is horrified and insists they raise Pan as a gentle, well-mannered girl rather than another "battle-loving idiot." Satan protests that he envisions Pan as a great martial artist and his successor, but Chi-Chi refuses to budge.

Krillin the Cop

Out on the streets, Bulma gets her car scratched during a police chase and pursues the robbers herself. The arresting officer turns out to be Krillin, who has taken up law enforcement since the peaceful era began. He thanks Bulma for her help but still writes her a speeding ticket. When Goku learns that Vegeta has been training with Whis for half a year, he becomes frantic and starts following Bulma everywhere, begging her to tell him when Whis will visit next. She finally gives him a cellphone and promises to call.

The Great Escape

Goku waits impatiently for days until the phone rings at last. He changes into his gi and blasts off, meeting Whis and Bulma at a restaurant. Whis agrees to train Goku but scolds him for his impatience. Before they can leave, Chi-Chi arrives, tipped off by Gohan, who had been suspicious of his father's behavior. After a heated family argument, Whis grows bored and starts to depart. Goku sprints after him and grabs on just as the angel launches into space. Surprisingly, Chi-Chi calms down almost immediately, seeming to accept the situation at last.

The episode balances family sitcom energy with meaningful character development. Goku is now a grandfather sneaking away from domestic responsibility, which makes his departure feel weightier than a simple training trip.
