Appearance

Shaped like an overgrown kindergartner, U-Tomodachi has green skin and wide eyes colored black and blue, with a red swirl marking each cheek. Two short pigtails held by pink ties frame her face, capped by a kindergarten hat centered with the Death Busters star. Her outfit combines a blue top, a red miniskirt worn over white shorts, white knee socks, and white shoes set on yellow heels, plus a yellow satchel whose strap bears a large black star. Both long white arms open at the ends so her spiked jump rope can slide free.

History

Professor Tomoe builds U-Tomodachi out of a script from a television episode, and Mimete takes her along to seize the Pure Heart of Yuu Kazama, an actor famous for soap operas. The theft never happens, because Sailor Uranus strikes before the crystal can be pulled free. Once the other Guardians arrive, Mimete departs with orders for the Daimon to hold them off, yet U-Tomodachi loathes the warriors so intensely that she refuses to fight and bolts in tears toward Hotaru. She demands that Hotaru clear the way, only to be frozen in place by the girl's power, which gives Super Sailor Moon the opening to end her run with a blast of Rainbow Moon Heartache. Because Sailor Uranus intervened, U-Tomodachi counts among the few Daimons who never claimed the Pure Heart they were dispatched to take.
