Chapter 165

A wall of soldiers halts the students until Karasuma orders the troops aside. He explains that they were left uninformed to stop leaks and kept from the school so they could not be seized as hostages. Turning around, the class finds reporters eavesdropping and is pelted with questions about Korosensei's supposed villainy. Seeing that the press cannot be swayed, they slip away to regroup.

Isogai proposes scouting the massive energy dome before making any move. Korosensei, meanwhile, learns that the barrier reaches underground and can find no way out. When the lead official notices the students' reconnaissance, he sets Craig Hojo loose. The teens find the mountain ringed by countless guards and resolve to push through by force, but in an instant Hojo and the rest of the Wolfgang seize them all and move them to the government's headquarters.

There the official states that the class will be held until the assassination succeeds. Sumire Hara argues that Korosensei's chance of exploding is under one percent, yet he counters that any figure above zero is too great a gamble for the public. He adds that the octopus's long record as a killer makes his death fully deserved, at which an enraged Terasaka kicks him, declaring him unworthy of judging their teacher. Branding the students brainwashed, Hojo orders the Wolfgang to haul them off and departs.

Karasuma clears the soldiers but the students are ambushed by the media and then captured by Craig Hojo's Wolfgang unit. Korosensei discovers the dome extends underground, cutting off any escape. At the government base, Hara's odds are dismissed, and Terasaka strikes the official who calls Korosensei's death deserved.

Perfect Argument Time is the one hundred sixty-fifth chapter, a twenty-page entry in Volume 19, School Attendance Time. It follows Confusion Time and leads into Perplexity Time, and it formally introduces the Wolfgang unit under Craig Hojo.
