Two brothers from one Liberio household both end up carrying the Jaw Titan, though never side by side. Marcel Galliard sabotaged Porco's candidacy out of love, hoping to spare him a shortened life, then died on Paradis before his brother ever learned the truth of it.
The Galliards are Eldians of Liberio, living under the Marleyan government. Four members are known: the parents, who survive the war, and the sons Marcel and Porco, who do not. What sets the household apart is the Jaw Titan, a power that passed through both brothers. The name echoes gaillard, a French term for someone brave, cheerful, and full of spirit.
Both boys enter the Marleyan military young and earn certification as Warrior candidates. Marcel receives the Jaw Titan from his predecessor, while Porco loses the Armored Titan to Reiner Braun, unaware that Marcel had quietly blackened his reputation so that his brother would keep a full lifespan rather than a Titan inheritor's shortened one. In 845 Marcel ships out with the Paradis Island Operation while Porco stays home; during the mission a Pure Titan, the one belonging to Ymir, devours him.
Years later Porco, now the Jaw Titan himself, fights in his Titan form during the clash at Fort Slava and returns to Liberio and his parents after Marley's victory. Keeping watch over the injured Reiner, he coldly corrects his comrade's gratitude, saying he acted at the fort only so Marley would not lose the Armored Titan. He explains that inheriting the Jaw gave him Ymir's memories rather than Marcel's, then berates Reiner for how often his comrades have had to save him, laying the blame for Marcel's death at his feet.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Marcel Galliard, the first of the brothers to hold the Jaw Titan, dies on Paradis in the operation's early days. Porco Galliard inherits the same power later and serves Marley as a Warrior; both brothers are dead by the war's end, and only their unnamed parents outlive the fighting.
Yes, the Galliard brothers' parents are among the family's four known members and survive the war, unlike their sons Marcel and Porco, who both die.
No, Marcel Galliard is devoured by a Pure Titan, specifically the one belonging to Ymir, during the Paradis Island Operation in 845, not by Eren Yeager.
Marcel Galliard secretly damaged his younger brother Porco's reputation as a Warrior candidate so that Porco would lose the Armored Titan to Reiner Braun and keep a full human lifespan instead of a Titan inheritor's shortened one.
Marcel Galliard, the first Galliard brother to hold the Jaw Titan, dies on Paradis Island in 845 when he is devoured by Ymir's Pure Titan during the Paradis Island Operation.
Porco Galliard blames Reiner Braun for Marcel's death, coldly reminding him during the Fort Slava campaign how often his comrades have had to save him and holding him responsible for what happened to his brother.
