History
As a team leader in the Fourth Squad, Lauda joins the Stohess District operation against Annie Leonhart, moving with his unit to block her path out of the city after Eren temporarily halts her flight. Later, when Reiner Braun and Bertolt Hoover turn on the Corps and try to abduct Eren and Ymir, Hange Zoë hands command of Team 2 to Lauda before attacking Bertolt. The battle leaves him too badly hurt to ride with the party sent to recover the captives.
His name is missing from the list of nine soldiers left standing after the Shiganshina battle, so he either perished earlier or had already quit the Corps.
